Summary

Weekly workflow hygiene needs astral-sh/setup-uv moved from v9.0.0 to v10.0.1. The only v10 breaking change disables the uv cache when enable-cache is left on auto for pull_request_target, workflow_run, release, and tag pushes. Both course workflows set enable-cache: true and do not use those events, so the pin can move without a workflow change. This supersedes Dependabot pull request #2.

Changes

  • Pin astral-sh/setup-uv to commit 20cfd1bf945f4377ade1205e4dbc17946fc9a30d (tag v10.0.1) in the course-check and Pages workflows.
  • Leave enable-cache: true and the Pages save-cache: false setting as they are. uv is still taken from [tool.uv] required-version (==0.10.12); that parser is unchanged from v9.

Testing

  • Compared the v9.0.0 and v10.0.1 action.yml inputs and the version-file parser. Input defaults and required-version parsing are unchanged. The runtime was already node24 on v9.
  • Confirmed tag v10.0.1 points at 20cfd1bf945f4377ade1205e4dbc17946fc9a30d.
  • GitHub Actions on this pull request still need to run the course checks.
